Welcome to the Austrian Club Sydney — a friendly community hub where you can experience the warmth, food, and culture of Austria right here in Sydney. Our fully licensed bar and à la carte restaurant serve authentic Austrian dishes and beverages in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

The clubhouse, inspired by a traditional Austrian country building, is home to several sub-groups that members are invited to join. Throughout the year, we host a variety of lively events, often featuring live Volksmusik, great food, and plenty of good cheer.

History

The Austrian Club Sydney is a non-profit community organisation founded in 1961 by Austrian immigrants who wanted to stay connected to their language, culture, and traditions while building a new life in Australia.

In 1980, the current clubhouse was built and expanded to include a restaurant and bar with regular opening hours — quickly becoming a popular gathering place for members and guests alike. Today, the Club continues to celebrate Austrian heritage through food, music, and community spirit.
