About

The Austrian Club Sydney is a community club that has a warm and friendly atmosphere. A fully licenced bar and a la carte restaurant providing authentic food and beverages. Our clubhouse is reminiscent of a typical Austrian country style building, with sub-groups that members are welcome to join. Throughout the year various events are held where often live Volksmusic can be heard and everyone has a good time!

History

The Austrian Club Sydney is a non-profit organization and was established in 1961 by Austrians who had immigrated to Australia and wanted to meet-up on a regular basis so they could experience the language, culture and food from their home country.

In 1980 the current club house was built and expanded to include a restaurant and bar with regular opening hours which has proved a hit with members and guests.
