AUSTRIAN AIR RIFLE GROUP

The Austrian Air Rifle Club’s AGM is to be held on Tuesday 22nd July, 7:30 pm at 20 Grattan Crescent, Frenchs Forest.


On the night the following positions will be up for election:
a.       President
b.       Vice President
c.       Treasurer
d.       Secretary
e.       Captain
f.         Vice Captain
g.       Range and Safety Officer
h.       Statistician
i.         Merchandising Manager
As in past years, there will be no shooting on that evening, but the AGM will be followed by food and refreshments. Your attendance at this meeting of your club is encouraged. All members will be getting letters to remind them of the AGM, and that membership fees for both the ARAA and Austrian Air Rifle Club are due in June.
 

In other news, every first Tuesday of the month, the Air Rifle Club holds an in-house Monthly Shoot competition. The place getters for the March, April and May Monthly Shoots are:


March  1st place            → Danny Stasenka (597.33)
            2nd place    → Emma Fleischmann (593.35)
 
April     1st place            → Alana Digby (597.55)
            2nd place    → Danny Stasenka (592.63)
 
May      1st place            → Alan Price (600.43)
            2nd place    → John Innes (598.75)


During the May Monthly Shoot, John Innes and John Stewart obtained triple digit scores of 333 and 444 respectively. As per Club tradition they had to shout everyone a drink much to our delight.
 
Upcoming competitions include the:
·         Liverpool Championship (July 5-6)
·         Newcastle Postal Shoot (July 22)
·         ARAA end of financial year postal shoot (July 28)
Check the Air Rifle notice board for more competition dates and please inform John Innes our Club Captain if you wish to enter any of the competitions.
 
The Air Rifle Club shoots on Tuesday nights at 7:30pm at the Clubhouse. New members are always welcome.
