“Choir looking for keen new folk, members and conductor”

has brought as two new members and we welcome

Johanna van der Meulen and Judith Margorrison.

We also had a write-up in “Die Woche” but so far we have not Found a permanent conductor.

Ilse Harris, who has led the choir on a temporary basis for the past Three years, has enlisted the help of a friend who has agreed to Conduct the choir for the rest of this year.

Her name is Yvonne Hammond, she speaks German , lives in Bayview.

She leads a busy life working and looking after her husband and twoYoung children.

Yvonne graduated from Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a B.Mus. Ed. and plays Trumpet and Classical Guitar.

The Austrian National Day Concert will be on Saturday evening, 21.10.06.

Rehearsals will be on Saturday afternoon from 2.30 pm.  – till 4 pm, At the Club, starting 16. September, 23. September, 30 . September, 14. October 2006.

Nigel has agreed to continue accompanying the choir.

Keep on singing, ready for September.
