REPORT FROM THE "OVER THE HILLS BUSHWALKING GROUP"

On Sunday, 29/3/09, five people walked from Winnererremy Bay to Church Point and return.  Thanks Albert for assisting with this walk.
 
On Sunday, 26/4/09, seven people did the Callicoma Walk Cherrybrook Circuit.  Glorious sunny day, beautiful scenery and a pleasant picnic followed the walk.  Thanks Alena for organising this walk.
 
On Sunday, 31/5/09, the walk was cancelled due to rain.  The Forest Walk is now scheduled to 19/7/09. 
 
On Sunday, 28/6/09, we will do the Harold Reid Foreshore Track, Middle Cove.  This is a 5 KM easy/medium walk.  Meet in the Harold Reid Reserve carpark for car shuttle to start of walk.  There are gas BBQs at the reserve – so either bring a picnic lunch or let me know if you are interested in me organising a BBQ lunch.

On Sunday, 19/7/09, we will do the Forest Walk in the Royal National Park.  This is a 4.5 KM medium grade mostly flat walk.  Meet at 10:00 AM at the carpark on Sir Bertram Stevens Drive near southern end of Lady Carrington Walk.  Bring a picnic lunch.

On Sunday, 30/8/09, we will walk down to Bantry Bay, up to Seaforth Oval and then return to the Austrian Club for afternoon tea.  Meet at the Austrian Club at 10:00 AM.

On Sunday, 27/9/09, there will be no walk, as it is the Austrian Club’s AGM and there are also functions at the club on the preceding and following Sundays.  Perhaps on Sunday, 27/9/09, you might like to get together at the Club for lunch about 1:00 PM.
